Our research in this area focuses on issues of hepatitis C risk and prevention, including vaccines. It is also concerned with the injecting of illicit drugs, as drug injecting is the primary route of transmission of hepatitis C in Australia. Our work in this area encompasses behavioural surveillance of people who inject drugs and young people who use recreational drugs.

An important focus of our current research is on risk and harm reduction in intimate relationships.
